Far Out Brews
Far Out Brews is a craft brewery producing beers that are out of this world. In this design study I created the name, logo, and packaging designs.
Logo
With the focus on standing out from the competition, I noticed that many local beer labels use bright colours, which on their own draw a lot of attention, but stacked up in the store they seem to blend. Far Out Brews takes a darker approach to branding, with all assets connecting through a space theme.
Label Designs
The monochromatic design results in a high degree of contrast, drawing the customers eye amid the rainbows on the shelf. Given that the project is in greyscale, it was important that I introduce strong point, line, and form elements to carry the branding.
